  2. Define ocean current and demonstrate two ways that water in the oceans move.
  3. Describe how salinity and temperature changes the density of water thus affecting its circulation.
  4. Explain how oceans affect local weather.

  • Analyze weather maps, classify fronts, identify high and low-pressure systems and determine the weather conditions associated with each.

HW:

Mon. 3/15: Where are you with your LTP work?  Make a plan of action to make sure that you are on track.  Postcards rough draft and bibliography page due Fri, April 2.  Your rock collection should be complete by that point!
